Work Day, Snow Day

Hey guys it's Zach Logan and Hannah Welter here and we are going to talk about our day.To start off we all woke up at about 6:00 to a blanket of snow on the ground... yay. Once we woke up,the other group that was here made us an awesome breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and ham; it was really good. After breakfast we chilled for a little bit until the guy came and told us what we were going to be doing. This is one of the frustrating parts of disaster relief; waiting for assignments.

We ended up splitting into two groups, one with Mr.Carroll, and another one with Mr.Brightbill. Mr.Carroll's group consisted of Autumn, Tyquan, Whitney, Clayton, Cameron, Shayna, and of course myself (Zach Logan). Mr. Brightbill's group consisted of Alexis, Kacey, Sofia, Kayla, Jailene, Marshall, Mrs.Deiling, and of course myself (Hannah). In Mr. Brightbill's group worked outside all day, but for the exception of Sofia. She built a lovely stand for the dryer of the homeowner. The rest of the group worked under the house installing insulation in our wonderful Tyvek suits. It was a long, cold, and muddy day for Mr.Brightbill's group. The temperature was in the 30s, with winds of 25mph. Lets just say once this
group got home they ran for a shower.

Okay guys its Zach. So I was in Mr.Carroll's group, and we painted did drywall and did some demolition. So I did drywall, and I don't want to brag, but it was perfect. Whitney, Shayna, Cameron, and Clayton tore up sub-floors and put new ones down. It looked really good! Tyquan, Autumn, and  I did some painting, and again I did perfect on that... as always. Robert, the home owner, was an awesome guy and we were all very honored. Oh yeah, and Mr.Carroll was our grateful and dominant leader.
